Hacking GX Loader black screen

Ok any game I try goes to the title screen then when I click start it goes to a black screen.
I have tried formatted my ext HDD to FAT32 and WBFS with the same result.
I am guessing its some IOS or config issue but I have no idea.
Any help greatly appreciated

your IOS' seem fine, try resetting the setting in gx to default, and try downloading the games that wont work from another site b/c It could be a invalid iso.

What revision of the loader are you using? It's on the credits screen in the top right corner.

I have reset defaults with no effect on the black screen

It says v3.0 IOS249 (REV 21010)
dx2 v10beta53-alt base56

Solved the problem.
As I was using beta53 I thought I'd try a different HDD and every game works perfectly.
