Nope, and I agree, but a petition won't solve this problem.
Either way, the people over at Gateway will fix/reimburse (from what I understood, I may be wrong so don't quote me to it!) your DS should it get bricked by their HW & SW. Now if you messed around and was mixed stuff, your own fault.

I never said a petition will solve the problem.. i was just saying don't buy gateways.

Even if they do repair it it takes a long time to ship and it's expensive to ship to them if you're not in their country. It would be better to just buy a new 3ds

Sounds Legit

Where can I start a petitition to make people stop creating petitititions?

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !

I want more Gateway brick code.
That way the Gateway clones will work harder and outdo Gateway.

Gateway 3DSs are likely immune to bricking, there are no independently verified bricks of a Gateway 3DS.
You should be able to just buy an Original Gateway card and you'll be safe - regardless of clone bricking code.

IMO.

The bricks are happening, and to legit GW users... However they're few and far between... I actually think Nintendo might be behind this. They can brick remotely and people have been updating their FW through EmuNAND online. Could it be possible Ninty made a push to try end the scene? It's come about at somewhat of a crucial time in the progress of multiROM and extra functionality. I can't find anything on YouTube about the bricks, very few actual sources online where people are claiming bricks.

Really starting to think about this whole thing... Perhaps GW 2.0b2 is safe is not taken online at all? So tempted.

I have yet to hear about anybody successfully RMA'ing their bricked 3DS to Gateway. There were a few threads on here about folks attempting to send back to them, but does anybody know the outcome?

Shipping would take 1-2 weeks, then each will presumably be checked for included external saved NAND + modified launcher or clone. Given the time the bricks started this is still gonna be at least 3-4 weeks before even the first people start seeing their consoles back in one piece.

Does anyone know what the people were doing when they got bricked? If I avoid Emunand do I have a good chance of not being bricked? Is it in the middle of changing the game or when you run the blue card?

Does anyone looked at the petition page ? 64 signatures in 20 days...
I also think that those peoples signed twice or more...

If you look through the posts on this forum and preferably mine regarding legit GW bricks, you will find all the info on this matter.

Once I hear back, I will be making a new thread on the outcome of my unit, if it ever gets there or if I get it back that is
