Hacking GW 2.0 White Stripes Crash

Loading via GUI works for me as well.

Profile alone stripes 50% of the time
GUI, then gateway mode. No stripes.

Although I don't have to wait 10seconds, just the act of going into the gui seems to fix it for me.

Just white stripe-crashed for me trying to boot to Gateway mode from the GUI. Never crashed before on the GUI. The only difference this time is that I had the 3D slider on and to the max it would go. SysNAND 4.5, emuNAND 6.3.

That's never worked for me.

The earlier post here worked for me. As soon as I updated to 6.3 emunand, the GW launcher or ds profile start would ALWAYS give the stripes crash.

I ended up booting up the GW launcher by holding L, BUT I kept my finger on the L button for about 5 seconds AFTER getting into the gui menu. If I do that, then I NEVER get the stripes anymore. (5 out of 5 times so far) Don't know why that's working, but it is for me.

Here is what has been working flawlessly for me for the last week:
I hold the L button when I click the DS Profile, and I release the L button as soon as the bottom screen shows up.
Immediately after that I press A to start emunand.

I haven't had a single hangup using this technique, and neither have I had any save hanging when trying to close the game through the home menu.
