Ergh... i just became 1337 at guitar hero 1. now i play 2 and i'm losing in hard. *anger* soon i will never be good. Especially if they make new "multi-stringed" controllers. then i will be a dead man.

I'd love a lot of changes with the Guitar Hero soundtrack. I'm not a big classic rock fan, so a good number of the songs in GH 1 and 2 were completely new to me. Of those, I felt that tracks on GH 1 blew 2 out of the water.

Well GH1 List was more mainstream... They used more secondary songs in GH2 (you know songs that most people never heard because they were never singles) for giving them another ''life''.

I want my fucking Metal Hero now. I don't want any My Chemical Romance in my games or other emo bands. Or anything else than metal. My favorite song in GH2 is Thunderhorse, every GH songs should be like that. Classic heavy metal is good too, I want more maiden.

You can, but its just not the same as the authentic tracks. The hacked ones are ok, but really arent that fun.

What ever happened to Guitar Villain? They got the name rights for it... that and Drum Hero... I guess both are still in the works...? Or got the rights just in cause...

Well in the interview where we learn that GH3 annonced for Wii , you can see that he will reveal some info on Villain and Drum.

You know, this is really a slap in Sony's face. Alot of us thought they had it all, and were the only ones whom could provide the precious guitar game... But now you see it switching over to 360 and Wii, and its really funny... First Metal Gear Solid's Snake, and now this

Considering Harmonix is no longer developing the Guitar Hero series and Activision/Neversoft now have that role, I'm slightly weary as to the future of the series...

The one to really keep your eye on is Rock Band also due out later this year. Harmonix's skill with music titles + EAs cash can only result in something awesome. They've already got all the big record labels on board for the tracklist, no covers in this game folks!

I'd rather have Guitar Hero I & II for the Wii, because I want a game developed by Harmonix.
