I don't plan on getting it, but I was in my local Wal-Mart yesterday and lo and behold there the game sat upon the shelf awaiting buyers to purchase it... A full nine days before official release date... I was like wow... Nintendo's gonna have some fussing to do if this broken release date is widespread enough!

Skyler, you make a good point. I'm a left-hander, and was all for getting this game, however, if they don't change around the buttons that would make playing for us lefties REALLY difficult. Hopefully someone who's a righty who buys this game can get back to us, and see if they swap it around for us lefties?

Well, I dont know. I mean, I've never played or been interested enough to play the console versions and its going to be a bit expensive I think for this game. I was interested when I first saw the commercials though.

I will be lurking around the internet soon after it comes out, reading reviews and watching videos of it. I may pick up a 2nd hand copy of it, but I dont know. I have a DSPhat, and I'm not interested in a wonky fit and what about the lefthanded gamers?

I think it's one of those games (if not only) that you need to buy if you want to experience the game fully.

That bundle got my attention. I'll see how it looks like first (silver and black DSL) then I'll make my decision...

Well, I just got my copy and I have to admit, the whole kit is pretty cool. The guitar grip is much more polished than I had imagined, and the pick stylus is more substantial and solid than I expected. I have only played a couple songs so far on career mode and I already have carpal tunnel syndrome, but I guess that was to be expected. Initial impressions are that it is pretty fun and represents the guitar hero brand well. I guess I'll get back to it and see how it goes!
