Gaming Guitar Hero 5 Update

hi, I've a jtaggable 360 with dashboard before 7371, and I've recently bought a rock band with guitar hero 5 (game).
It asked me to update..., but I'm afraid that it could ruin the chance of jtagging the box.
Is it safe to update?, anyone know about what the update does? eventually to the dashboard?

Don't update. I'm guessing (due to the time it was released) it contains the August 2009 update, which blocks the SMC/JTAG hack.

Thank u for the answer. then I'll have to but Guitar hero 4 (world tour), or jtag it first.
