Hi,
I'm just wondering if it is safe to play Guitar Hero 5 online. Right now I disabled the internet on my Wii, because I don't know whether Nintendo would be suspicious if someone tried to connect to wifi on their game before they released it.

I'm just thinking that I might remember hearing about Nintendo doing something like this before. So you think it is safe?

DONT DO IT....

They have a special task force set up for people who play games before they are released..

They sit there waiting until you come on then they play you and pound yous ASS into the ground and leave you so embarressed that you will never want to play again..

Wait until some of the other noobs buy the game and start to connect..

I'm sure its safe, I've played US games that weren't out over here and nothing has happened.

Shit I played Wii Sports Resorts two weeks before it was in the shops and I kept getting those stupid "acheivements" messages that they send to you.

If you're that paranoid its best to go offline completely. Doesn't the Wii send info to Nintendo on what we've been playing for "stats" purposes?

i used to go out to the recycling center every couple weeks and look at the crts and other electronics people would drop off. Usually screens were broken or severely scratched from being tossed around. Did find a good one here and there, but never anything like a 1080i widescreen crt.

Is it piracy if it was released for free? Not in my opinion, but I also think it's not piracy if buying it isn't owning it, and it's not piracy if you can't buy it from the original creators anymore.

Free release can have loopholes where they still make money through ads
