I'm sure everyone has a movie they like but are afraid to tell people they know. Mine is "Romeo + Juliet" 1996 Leo Cap version. I LOVED that movie, but my friends think that it's a silly interpretation of a great Shakespearean play... Your selves?

Brokeback Mountain and Son of the Mask.

Son of the Mask, I remember watching that when I was a kid, like 8 (I wondered why the tadpoles were swimming to the egg). I loved it oddly, and that actually got me into studying Norse mythology.

Goofball, slapstick comedies that feature the likes of actors such as Jim Carrey or Adam Sandler. You can call my sense of humor juvenile or shallow, but fart-lighting gags and such just break down my defenses. I don't know why film critics don't see the inner beauty in these types of films -- they need to grow up .
