If you got a HDD in your console which either is one from MS or a hacked one with the emulator on it, then yes.

The xbox emulator resides on a partition on the harddrive.
You can inject it (if you got a 3rd party HDD or a hacked HDD) if needed.
If you get a first party HDD, you won't need to inject it.

Edit:
Hardware hacked consoles can just load up me xexmenu disc from the "install FSD" thread and install it that way.

the emulator files r on the hdd. there r hacked ones that u can get from that iso site. they're supposed to offer better compatibility.

Yes.
You can also rip them to the harddrive (which speeds up loading considerably)

If your original box sounds loud, try replacing the thermal paste and lower the fan speed.

As long as it isn't a Winchester Board (500GB HDD) there is no problem to RGH it. The only option is RGH.

I'd say swap it for an older model.
If you get a glossy slim, you could extract the DVD key and use an Xkey to also play online.

Depends on what your console is.
Phat, Slim, eSlim etc.

And yes and no.
Most of the bans are automated i.e. you go online without a stealth server, have an outdated DVD firmware or Xkey firmware, unpatched XGD3 disc, incorrect AP2.5 responses.
What people do with GTA 5 is cheating and shouldn't be allowed but I know for a fact that GTA 4 has mods which can be used on retail consoles so I wouldn't be surprised if GTA 5 has the same.

I've read that it's possible to do it without hardware modification ...

You can flash the drive (DVD backup), or invest in an Xkey (USB loading).

Flashing the drive means you must extract the DVD key with hardware and flash a new FW to it.
Xkey also requires drive extracting.

You could send your drive to me, so I could flash/extract the keys.
This will cost you shipping both ways and whatever you feel like giving me for the trouble.
I'm also in Europe so it'll be cheapish ;p

Thanks for this answer. I think that the xkey will better suits me, as I have all my backuped games on an external HDD. Regarding my Xbox model/type, do you think i'll still need to RGH ?

And what vendor do you advice me, for the xkey ?

Phatties don't need RGH, simple dive extraction is the only requirement.
