I'm thinking about selling my PS3 and buying an XBOX 360 because I'm poor and can't afford games. But the guide is a bit confusing.

If I understand it right, I can get any fat XBOX 360 I want and hack it without extra tools, right?

Okay, so, obviously my 360 has the LT 3.0 firmware on it, and all has been well and fine there. Not even a hiccup on the X-key last I checked after its latest dashboard update. You're saying it's still possible to RGH? :wtf:

Not that I'm doubting you, per say. But I do wonder what an RGH will allow me to do that I can't already do? :ninja:

RGH will essentially get you banned from Live.
Unless you spend a ridiculous amount of money on shady stealth servers (with no guarantee of not being banned or being scammed)
You could get a dual NAND.
Then you'll have one side for the RGH (Live blocked, a 1 or 2TB internal HDD) and a side for Live (stock HDD + Xkey)

RGH basically allows the execution of unsigned code (DLC loading, homebrew)

Tho I warn you, homebrew is very disappointing on the 360.

Even then you wouldn't miss much.

Tho I doubt you'll be able to sync Achievements you've unlocked on a 360 with Live, once the servers are closed down.
Unless you can put your GT on a USB drive and plug it into the One...
Which, as far as I know, isn't possible.

Fair enough, what PS3 is it?
NAND or NOR model?
Early Slim or Phat?

Anyway, if you got a compatible SATA chipset, then you can flash it with Jungleflasher.
You may or may not need a Probe 3 (if you got a Liteon drive, you do)
I could also flash it for you (just pay shipping, which should be ~20 E)

It's a Slim 320 GB, 3004B.

So I picked up a Trinity slim with a controller and kinect for $60 today, a good deal, and wanted to know if there are any reputable American services which can RGH2 it.

I am looking at ads and found a chipped xbox 360 but the owner dont know what chip or anything really. How can I see if it is chipped is there anyway to tell if it is? I am new to this as you can see I have no clue myself.

Well if it's "chiped" it has to be an RGH Box (RGH=Reset glitch Hack) when it is an old Phat model I might have bin hacked without an chip but still hacked would be an Jtag.

I wouldn't recommend buying a phat nowadays look out for a slim
