i`m bored...nIxx, can you modify my source so that it has the cover feature? or is it too much work for you?

Ihhh

.

So i think covers should work fine now only one little problem if you don´t have the picture of the game it loads the picture from the game before but as long as you have all pictures this shouldn´t be a problem for now

.

Here is a test with 800 resized images (images are now in /images/ directory)

would be nice if someone with many games on his HDD could test this
You can scroll after prssing B one time and then use the D-Pad

Lol okay i bet i need to change the max option entries or so but fine that the covers work
wink.gif

Because i had a really ugly memory bug that freezed the whole GUI

Great work, nIxx. Covers are shown and I don't have that text overlay. Strange. What I can't get to work is scrolling down the game list. How do you do that with this GUI?

Btw, any chance for reading the game names from a titles.txt?

Wow.. excellent development on this guys!

A couple of preferences that I'd love to see..

- if the title is too long, a hover-over would pop-up a 'tool-tip' with the full name displayable on the screen
- while the cosmetics are nice and pretty, I for one would love to see more titles on the screen at once.. (Yeah, I'm one of those 21 entry people on the non-gui versions)
- I liked the "wii theme" screens a few pages back as it provides consistency to the interface.. like it's a native Wii operation..

- but then a *really* excellent and functional UI will trump UI consistency... ;-)

This is looking really promising!!

Good work all!

good morning...maybe nixx releases the source today.*hoping*
http://code.google.com/p/usbloader-gui/source/checkout
(Is about 33 hours old, but it's his project)

Here is my latest try:
Link temporary removed due to Code dump bug on some games...

Can't realy compare with the other GUIs, and Installing and Settings are still not working, but I like it. Based on USB Loader 1.4 but without SD loading and libwiigui 1.01 with some fixes from 1.02.
Images should be in SD:/COVERS named like RUUP01.png and have the size 64x92 (they don't need ot be this size but they need to be multiples of 4).

Well, I got it fixed, no Code dumps on any game, then I made another change (without making a backup, stupid me) and now Code dump on every game
biggrin.gif

EDIT: fixed typo

Here's a new addition our toy. It's quite useless, but it's there none-the-less. You guys can go ahead and update the wiki with a new column... "displays battery meter".

This is working perfectly. The rest of the loader, not so much.
