I just want to know how it interacts with the DSi. Does it autoboot like most cards do on the DS? Exactly how much of the hardware is accessible?

The standard CycloDS doesn't autoboot anyway. Unless you have the DS set to automatic, which is a setting the DSi doesn't even have anymore.

He booted the cart on a DS Lite. The cart does not auto-boot on a DSi, you must launch the game as with any other flash cart. Watch Jakob95 video.

Basically the same thing as the regular CycloDS looks exactly the same when you launch it. You can't play DSi enhansed games because it says those games were not dumped properly(only the DS contents of the game were dumped not the DSi's so it can't be played).
EDIT: I have to go pick up my baby brother from his baby sitter.

So, is there an actual problem with the dump, or is it unable to play DSi enhanced games (Like TRON, for example) at this time?

As he said, the games don't have the DSi section properly dumped. Basically needs a new dump with all files intact to play in DSi mode?

I tried some homebrews on DSi mode and these are the ones I found that worked. I tested all on CycloDSi iEvo.

Works:
Lameboy works. (Won't work with this exploit though because of the no FAT support)
Walktalkie(haven't tested the Wifi)
PPSE (The Pokesav for DS)(freezes after you press load Save)(still boots up)
MemtestARM(When its tests my DS's RAM it says I only have 3125(after its done testing the RAM it freezes)
Facebook for DS (boots up)(Can't initialize FAT)
iFile(it could even see the FAT and show me the files I got in my MicroSD)

Have you tried the Live Caster in Pokemon Black/White? That uses the DSi Cameras and could verify for all of us that the card is legit.

Have you tried any games that were dumped as DSi games? You may have just tried games that were dumped as regular DS games.

The card is legit. That has been proven already. The problem is with loaders and such since no one has ever made working DSi software before (since no homebrew could be run in DSi mode). Hopefully the loaders will be updated soon with new improved stability

wow. so far this card is not living up to its expectations. definately not worth the price its at right now

i am harshly disapointed too.
First, the crap with delayed releases.
Then, the card appears to have no more functionality than my DS2, while costing more.

i guess i wait for the SCDS2 team to apply the Savegame Rom Hack to their card, yet, still, i haven't seen any DSi content in action on the iEvo.

in other words, we waited and waited and waited for a card that is more expensive then the current top of the line card, with less functionality.

I will keep my eye on this. The day i see the iEvo play DSi enhanced games with DSi content, i will buy it. That is, if the supercard team doesn't copy their approach.

Otherwise, there is no point in spending 60$ on a card. Spending those 60$ won't allow me to do anything more then i can already do.

i am also disappointed that the card came without GBA slot-1 emulation. If a card costs 60$, better have slot-1 GBA or some other USEFULL feature that makes it worth it. And the feature hailed by most CycloDS users was the DSi compatability, and the option to use DSi mode. So far, i have seen none of that.

Somehow fooled myself by thinking "if they are putting off the release for that long, it's going to be GOOD when it comes out".

Admitedly, the card looks very sturdy in the pictures. It has one thing that my SCDS2 doesn't have, and that is a full set of teeth.

While it's true that no one has uploaded any videos of DSi enhanced games running in DSi mode Team Cyclops will be releasing a new beta tomrrow which will have a compatibility layer that should allow older homebrew to run in DSi mode.

i am rooting for TC and i hope they figure this out.

only reason i am ... mad ... is because of their wild claims, and no show for it.

now, it looks like the ends and pieces are finally comming together. I will let the software "ripen" a bit, and wait around for some properly dumped DSi games.

But as of now, shall it be known, that TC "did it". We have a (somewhat) working DSi mode flashcard
