GTA Copy For iPhone/Touch

Heres a trailer I found. http://www.coming-on-iphone.com/ (The site itself is a video). According to TouchArcade and the game designers. This is a copy of GTA game for the iPhone/Touch and although theres no gameplay in the video. Their description of the game makes me want to try out the game

'We have built a massive multiplayer online game that takes the concept and feel behind the Grand Theft Auto series and brings it to the iPhone in a direct input based game, named The Cartel.
Some of the main features of the game are:
in-game world economy
ability to acquire wealth through the development of commodities
perform actions to increase your status and wealth
ability to interact with other players through a chat system and the Forums
able to join gangs and form cartels that benefit all percipients
use the Player Marketplace to barter your way to the top
buy and equip a variety of items to enable your missions and character’s ability
fight your way to the top individually or using your cartel’s power

The goal of the game is simple; use any of the available features to make the most money and form the most powerful Cartel.'

It's bleedingly obvious that the graphics/gameplay are going to be nothing to that of the video on the site. I highly doubt Apple would let R* even make a GTA for iPod/iPhone anyway.

On topic: I was never a fan of GTA to be honest. The DS one was pulled off pretty well from my experience. I might get an iPhone someday.. maybe not. There's already many applications that I want for it. I already got an iTouch though.

Gameloft! Omfg, this could be good... or it could mean sod all.

He whoised an ip.....anyone can go that with google.

but the if the game is anything like payback it should be quite great.
