Hacking Growing old waiting for Gateway v2.0

Don't get me wrong as I am not an entitled brat or anything but aren't you guys getting tired of waiting for Gateway 2.0?

It was first announce Oct 1. The last info update came more than two weeks ago. I know they are bringing us EmuNand and possibly other new features like Nand saving fix and multi-rom but it seems to be taking forever as it has been almost two months since announcement and we really have no idea when (if ever) we will see this update.

Nintendo has already said they will be having a major update next month so I am really hoping Gateway v2.0 gets out before that so we can have a short window where we are on the latest firmware version before Nintendo rolls out FW 7.x with the NNID and Miiverse functions. My biggest hope for EmuNand is that we can use the transfer tool as I would really love to take all the stuff on my OFW XL and transfer it to my Gateway XL....then I could just sell my other unit.

The latest update about the 2.0 firmware is 2 weeks old so its not dead and will come out when its ready.
And iirc they said that they won't upload it once Pokemon is playable.
That or they are waiting for 7.0 to come out so nintendo doesn't kill more hack related stuff with it.

I think they wanted to put too much things in one single release. Better if they did fw 1.3 , 1.4, etc... with single new features.

Well, patience is a virtue, my friend. Still, I won't buy it until it works on a fully updated 3DS, or when it gets cheaper.

Hey, the Gateway Team are regular people with normal lives. The Gateway is probably just a side business, they have their own jobs, family, and lives. They can't lock themselves up in a room and work on this until it's done, they work on it in their free time when they feel like it.

Puting some text on website doesn't take even 30 mins of their life, so they could afford it.

I don't know why they suddenly stopped bringing updates of individual features, maybe right after releasing 1.2 they knew clones were going to appear and they are holding on to their updates since then, who knows?

I'm worried as well about the next update. It's very possible that Nintendo could patch EmuNAND without the need of analysing GW's 2.0 firmware; after all, they patched the 4.5 exploit after its mere existence was announced without deep details.

not another "they will never release it" and "how long" and "I'm tired of waiting" and "speculation of what the future will be".
If you are tired of waiting, don't wait. Do something else because, you know, there's nothing you can do about it. I'm sure you have hundreds of games you never finished/played waiting for you.
