Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicals: Rings of Fate + Echoes of Time even though I can't get into them, seem good for ARPGS. Err... I don't know if dungeon crawlers count like PMD but that too

for ds you could play phantom hourglass. if you have a wii you should play twilight princess. other than that all the other zeldas lol. except the second one on the NES that one sucked. tales of symphonia was good as well (the gamecube one, not the wii one).

Children of Mana was a really dumb buy

I guess in objective terms, it's not a HORRIBLE game, but I like to play more exciting games. Literally, the entire game is about hacking and slashing, hacking and slashing, and absolutely nothing else. What's worse, all of the weapons look like every other weapon in its class: sword, morning star, bow, and any other weapon I missed if there are. The short, soundless cutscenes weren't really great either.

There's also no point in leveling up, because the monsters get stronger as you do, and even faster than you do it felt like.

I just realized the DS has quite a nice number of good Action RPGs. TWEWY, Crystal Chronicles 2x, Soma Bringer, and there are others coming as well. Heck, most gaming plataforms are lucky if they have 1 or 2 action-RPG that are worth playing...

(and I'm a big fan of the genre!)

Well, actually the DS has been declared by some as the successor of the SNES, as being the system with so many great RPG's being released on it. There are really too many for me to think of and list, but there are tons. Maybe someone else can find, copy and paste a comprehensive list of releases and future releases.

Oh, btw Im Inylo, I have a great suggestion: Summon Night: Twin Age. Controlled by stylus, not by buttons, but it's really fun.

According to this there's only 12 but this only ranks US/EU I think. in order of ranking they go:
1. TWEWY 2. Lunar Knights 3. Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings 4. FFCC:RoF 5.Pokemon Ranger 6. Lost Magic 7. Children of Mana 8.Spectrobes 9,10,11 MegaMan Starforce Leo, Dragon, Pegasus. 12. Deep Labyrinth

Summon Night: Twin Age for the ds has been released in English. It diverges from the traditional strategy Summon Nights, like the Swordcraft Stories subseries did. I never played the original Summon Night games though...
at least, I think the originals were strategy or tactics.
