ROM Hack Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars AR code fix

The multiplayer doesn't work on my AK2 (AKAIO 1.4)... It freezes when I try to connect to wi-fi.

alright, so I added the code to my usrcheat.dat file on R4 1.18, and it seems to detect the ROM when I start up, lets me toggle the cheat on/off, all that junk, but when I start the game nothing's changed, I still get that same "save fil cannot be accessed" or whatever screen..... does anyone know what Ive done wrong??

Narin will update his database later when he chooses. As for you, there is nothing stopping you from adding it yourself, so go for it.

Would someone be kind enough to upload their user.evo.CHEATS that has this GTA cheat code for us? I'm on Linux, and I have no idea what program I would use to go about adding this cheat myself. It won't simply open in a notepad, so I don't what to use.

Very excellent of you AcidPort. I still haven't found an app that works on Linux to edit these cheats. So you really helped me out.

EDIT: The cheat worked perfectly AcidPort. Thank you again. I still don't understand how an anti-piracy cheat fixes this game when it was suppose to be a save problem. But I'm happy to be playing it on my Evo now.

Got this working on my M3 Simply. Had to install Ysmenu and then use the cheat. Works perfect now.

I still get white screen on Supercard Rumble Lite (slot-2). I can't even access the cheats menu. Does anyone know why?

R4 users first should use ARM7 patch, then use this AR code fix or use YSmenu.

P.S: When changing ARM7 & repacking the ROM, the game id should be changing.
