It's due to the amount of exposure to slang. I honestly can't think of a single person in my school who I've seen, that has actually ever posted something on facebook without some form of slang or a grammar mistake.

there are horrible stuff in my language as well, mostly the X, cause at us "ksz" sounds exactly like "x" and ppl replace it

apart from that, I only care about grammar if I'm talking seriously about sth or ppl that get mad after seeing a "u" instead of "you"
it's just an extra color in text and voice, as long as you know what ppl are talkin' about, it doesn't matter
twisted voice and funny grammar play part in comedian roles as well

proper grammar is for formal stuff

but there is one thing i hate and there is no exception, not in any language either:
Too...Much...Friggin...exclamation and question marks at the end of a sentence

Would have been funnier had it not been for all the swearing. It wasn't that funny. There's only two things that bug me, I don't mind the whole "y r u" thing or anything like that, but what does bug me is this:

When people don't use capitals. I don't know why, but I just get irritated. There's one rule I live by when it comes to capitals:

Capitalization is the difference between "helping jack off the horse," and "helping Jack off the horse."

The second thing that bugs me, is when people use "alot".
alot =/= a lot.i dont see why youd get so upset, alot of people use it like that anyways

Aside from the fact that "anyways" isn't a word in the English dictionary, not much.

You know what really bugs me, when people don't capitalise their I's. It's not that frickin hard to quickly press shift for a second while you type the I, honestly.

Being homophones, there are jokes which work better when spoken than when written. For example, the corner shop scenario:

"Do you keep stationery?"

if you're using the mouse and you just quicly want to write sth down, it just bothers while ppl still understand it

There's a shit load of reasons for incorrect grammar, some people post from portable media device, maybe it's a simple typo, so what?
