OP
So I woke up with the "pirated software" PSN ban email in my inbox. Im not too upset or anything I didn't have much of worth on my account. But I would like to know of I were to make a new account, how would I prevent any future bans? Also it said my PS3 system itself was banned from accessing any online functionalities, is there a way around this on CFW?

Just like with sex, the only 100% way of preventing pregnancies (or bans) is abstinence (or not going online). There is no way to go online with a modded PS3 and be 100% ban-free. I've read about people who never thought twice about going online and never got banned and also about people who went through every anti-ban software/method (aside from not going online) and still got banned, so it really is a crap shoot.

That being said, maybe you should update your signature with a new PSN ID.

Still waiting for my psn account to be banned from my second ps3 :P.
Ps3ninja works OK, as long as you're not banned yet.
Otherwise buy another ps3 and login with your existing account and it should be fine...
At least in the 3.55 FW hacks. My 60gb was banned from psn, so I bought a second one and I could just login and it still works.
Still have to hack this one, but can't find a reason to hack it other than it can be hacked...
I bought all the games I wanted to play on my ps3 (So piracy is out of the question),
And for the homebrew... Still searching (rpi3 owner :P)

you can tell from the wording "system, account" which has been banned. however, if the system has been banned, it's pretty much a guarantee that the account has been too. I guess sony doesn't want your money if the system banning wasn't enough to get you going legit.

Ive had multiple cfw ps3 since people used jigs to jb the old phat models

You can go online and be safe you just cant mod the newest games and expect to not get banned i play all my games from backups i made and last time i got banned was for xp lobby in BO3 and that was many years ago

And you can just change your CID and your ps3 will be unbanned account bans are permanent

Maybe change to a Dex setup i feel like its harder to get banned on those and you dont need to spoof your firmware as much to get online

As with everything it all comes down to what you do. Before logging in i just remove syscalls using webman and have been good for years

thats why my real account (on my ps4) doesn't even touch my hacked ps3 i use a dummy account to activate my ps3 and then IMMEDIATLY log off (I do this on HFW not CFW before i intall cfw) btw i'd say just play backups the ps3 online is pretty much dead

Are people in mother F*king 2020 STILL asking how to prevent bans on XYZ console!!?

Why is it, that today more than ever we have SUCH EASY ACCESS to almost all the knowledge of mankind .. EVER, at our fingertips, yet people today are by FAR the dumbest ever!?

Do you not know how to google "XYZ console ban prevention" ??

And here's a PROtip thats been around for , 13 to 14 or so years already.... you can't stop bans! period, on any console. Prolonging it is the best you can hope for.

So thanks to the OP for asking a question that has been asked 7,254,889,431,901,077 times.
And for the 7,254,889,431,901,078th time - you don't! You want to prevent a ban?...then don't ever ever motherF*king donkey nuts sucking EVER... use a modded console online for anything. JEEEsus people, please at least attempt to use 1% of your brain.

@Kirbydogs, Good thing I've got Open Shell, it's an open source version of Classic Shell that a lot of people used because Windows 8's start menu sucked.

I remember seeing a comment on a recent Enderman video, "Windows users: "Linux is for nerds!" Also Windows Users:" (it was referencing literally hacking an OS build)
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, What OS build was it?
  • Kirbydogs @ Kirbydogs:
Dev build that was leaked, meant for Microsoft 365
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, Ah yes, it was meant for 365 Link devices. Not meant to be used as a consumer build because it's very stripped down to the core.

It is kinda creepy though, it shows *some* insight on what Windows may look like in the future. For example, the CTRL+ALT+DEL menu is a.. webview?
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Kirbydogs, The Windows 11 OOBE is a webview, even the 365 enterprise logon screen.
