Thought I'd share, Just finished installing the HDMI kit to my Nes. Have to say I'm blown away about how good it looks on my monitor, With very minimal lag especially when using my low lag monitor , I can't tell it at all. Compatibility seems to be excellent on most all games.

The flickering on Battletoads was caused by the phase option that I was using. easily fixed.

That's awesome! How difficult would it be for someone with little to no soldering experience to install one of these?

Thanks for posting!

You could always get a installer, but if you did want to attempt it I'd say the hardest part is removing the chips, its soldered on both sides of the pcb which makes it harder to remove without destroying the pads. Its best to have a desoldering pump handy. I actually used Hot Air, which I wouldn't recommend cause its possible to damage the chips if your not careful.

I'd say watch some youtube videos and practice on something. If you can master that the rest is easy.
