Got more RAM for my compy!

God it runs so fast now I love it!

We had 256mb of RAM and a bunch of dust inside the computer that was making it mad slow, so we opened it up, cleaned out the dust and put a brand new 1GB RAM card in it and it runs amazing because we have 1.25GB of RAM in it now!

I can finally play Day Of Defeat and CounterStrike again

and I can even play RuneScape in HD if I want to but I don't play it anymore.


I'm so happy!

Congrats. I remember my old computer that only had 64 MB of RAM (It was pretty old). I now have a laptop with 3GB of RAM.

Damn, I don't see why you have waited so long to buy new RAM. If you really needed it, you could buy 4GB of RAM for about 100 USD.
It's so cheap nowadays, gotta love the technical progression!

And that's exactly my problem. I have a 5-year-old computer with 512 MB of RAM. Not too bad, but I could definately use more, even though I don't play any games on it. The problem is that buying this old slow memory will cost me more than double the amount of money that I'd pay for brand new DDR3 memory.

Yeah I know, however, My parents would never spend that much, we got a 1GB DDR RAM stick for $35

I payed $20 for it last xmas

16GB is overkill for any system, considering the price and by the time 16GB ram could actually be used DDR4 ram will probably be out
