And of course Google discriminates against the eyeglass-wearing community.

Yet again another example of glassesism in today's society. I, for one, will not stand for this!

will it spoil my eyes?

oh, 1 more thing.

If the glasses are to constantly notifying me this place is blocked, it is going to rain etc etc, so does that mean it will obstruct my view?

Don't speak just yet, they might make either a HUD that you can clip on to your existing glasses, OR when you get your next "frame upgrade" You might select one of the Google Glasses frames made by select frame designers (Ray Ban, etc...) and they would just pop in your prescription and with a bit of handwavium, they would adjust the HUD to be compatible with your prescription (sharp and clear instead of blurry).

This project reminds me of UofT professor Steve Mann, who has been wearing a portable computer on his head 24/7 for the past 30 years! Is he a part of this Google project? If he's not, then there must be a lot of like-minded people at Google and elsewhere...

I liked about half of the posts in this thread... ha.

Anyway, I think it's just silly. Also, how would you be able see what's on the lenses? I know if I put something that close to my eye I can't focus on it and it just gets blurry.

After they get the issues out such as privacy, I'll probably get one these in the future. Maybe not exactly from Google. Replace the phone or even the laptop in the future.

Not getting contacts tho. Speaking of contacts.
