Gaming Good Smoke Screens?

My friend said he uses them cuz he torrents, was looking into one of them for myself, what would be a good one? Are they easy to set up? Any good free ones?

Proxies are about the only thing that works here (seedbox if you can get a good one if not).

Those smokescreens as you call them are otherwise know as block lists, IP filters, bad hosts lists and variations on said theme and they are all absolutely pointless.

A seedbox which doesn't store logs or information on you would be better then those blocklists. As the previous poster said, they're next to useless. If you google ipfilter.dat you'll find many places that maintain an ip block list that can be used in utorrent and similar applications.

With a seedbox you can download the torrent to your remote server, then ssh in, or ftp and grab it to your own computer. Of course this paranoia comes with a price, seedboxes aren't free.
