I'm looking to get some games for my computer, not sure what to get for it though.

I'm interested in several genres (mostly platform, arcade and racing games, some FPS but I don't have a mouse yet, as well I want to get into JRPG's), so that shouldn't be such an issue in choosing.

But my specs are bad, I've got a Dell XPS M1530 running Vista SP2 Home Premium 64-bit, the specs are around:

Intel Core 2 Duo T7250 clocked at 2.00GhZ
    NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT
    4 GB of RAM
    IDT Sound Card

This is a 2009 laptop, probably built for light gaming or something.

Anyway, any recommendations to what I could look for?

Torchlight if you'r into ARPG. Farcry 2 and Star wars Battlefront 2 if you like shooters. For JRPG you can try FF pc ports and The Legend of heroes series.

If you have no problem with piracy, play Earthbound then Mother 3. I don't know anything about EB0 (Mother 1) but it's a Mother game so I would recommend it.
