Gaming Good Multiplayer LAN games

Anyone know any? =D
I have 4/5 computer hooked up LAN and we get bored alot

And I get to use that as an excuse to torrent on my slow internet =D

My friends like to play CounterStrike (Not Source) and Warcraft 3 (A bunch of different game maps, not the actual one) a lot. Lately they've been doing Warhammer 40k Soulstorm. And a neat game called Savage but I don't know if you can really play that with that many people.

Well, if you like sports, play Fifa, NBA or Madden or something like that.

Further, RollCage 2, Age of Empires 2, Carmageddon 2, GTA 2 and Dungeon Keeper 2
Those are some old games, but really fun to play, and especially in LAN.

And offcourse the Call of Duty series

And Rainbow Six Vegas, really fun in co-op

Crimson Skies was great fun on LAN if you all have flight sticks (even if you don't, probably!)
BF1942 (yes the first one) was good fun teaming up you and a few friends against a horde of bots.
And you've just the right number of people for a 1-6 player race on Need for Speed Underground 2. More fun than it initially sounds, honestly.
EDIT: Omg how could I forget the ultimate LAN game, Serious Sam (all of em!)

2 of the computers at my house are so old Source is barely supported on them so I'd rather not

And my computer, whcih is the best here, has an intergrated GPU so I run source games at 800x600 dx7

I might mention that now we are on the PC it is the exclusive domain of first person shooters and while halo probably should be king of the console FPS it pails when compared to some of the stuff out there.


Back on topic I find myself in the same situation, normally I just raid the £/$10 game racks although recently I have been checking out the free games and I am liking what I see.
I really hate linking wikipedia but it is kind of hard to mess up links to bad so I will make an exception:

Going this way your "old" computers (or laptops) can also join in/act as a server as well and no matter the game I find the more people are there the more fun it is.

Lol used to do that at school.
I burned 5 CDs with WinRar self extract versions of CS 1.6 wtih as much stuff removed as possible so the installs would be fast
Then we'd play LAN with 20 people for an hour
