If they don't bring Golden Sun to the DS, that's as foolish as not bringing Pikmin to the Wii.

AS LONG AS this doesn't become a sham to make a quick buck, it should turn out fine. C'mon Camelot, E3 2009, GSDS!
The last game they released is "We love golf" (Wii) and there is no information about their next project. So, it could be Golden Sun for DS and/or Wii.

Camelot have stated many times that they want to make another Golden Sun game, Nintendo have asked them to do another but they won't in the forseeable future as they have other games in development.

A new Breath of Fire is probably more likely.

I wouldn't mind a new BoF either.
BoF1+2 and Golden Sun were my favorite GBA games..
And I have yet to try Mother 3...

As long as it isn't like the PS2 crap one.

Exactly, or PC versions, but I think they are the same.

I actually tried the PS2 and PC versions... But they didn't even come close to the ones on the SNES/GBA.

As with many of you, I also have fond memories of the game. I am fine with any Camelot RPG at all as they have good quality reggardless of the franchise, though I would like Golden Sun more.

Stupid topic gave me blue balls.

Btw did the OP ever come back or did the grammer police kill him?

i doubt we will see any Golden Sun / Mother sequels~! odds are 99% we won't see any

i remember reading that these game studios are not in good terms with nintendo
smile.gif

and these producers are closely related to nintendo~! some of these company are nintendo's studio
it was some of their release, that the sales screwed up badly....
and one thing for sure, we will never understand nintendo because they are stubborn for sure~!

I don't know how much a chance there is of one coming, but as far as having prepared for one, I think Camelot did. GS2 saves clear data, just like GS1. GS1 used that clear data to transfer characters via either link cable or password to 2.

GS2 has no such option of using the clear data in any way, however if you consider GS3 being in slot-1 and GS2 being in slot-2 it could read the save data. Such an implementation would be proof that GS2 was designed to update data to 3 through a system of reading the save straight off the cart(no link cable or password) and migrating data onto the console that runs GS3. And the only console that can read both a GBA game AND a game of a modern console simultaneously is the Nintendo DS.

I finished GS2 just yesterday after having obtained all 72 Djinnis and all summons. I love the game and although I sensed considerable lack of drama during serious moments(Felix's parents' death for instance) aswell as lack of character depth and individuality(although that's improved since 1), it still wins a lot in terms of gameplay size music and graphics over the Final Fantasy series. They improved a lot on interface compared to FFs and added a decent save-anywhere system and I was getting sick of save points and other hinderances throughout Final Fantasy. I would LOVE to see an upcoming GS game. I am in love with the series(and have a crush on a few summons).

All posts should be made in legible English. Do not make posts or topics in foreign languages, they are likely to be closed. We will be lenient on this rule from time to time as long as it doesn't become a habit amongst members.

Please remember this, I'll let this slide for now but remember some people find it hard to read regular English due to this being an international forum, so most of that will be gibberish.

Haha, I don't think you can rightfully have any form of critique on anyone's spelling, considering yours isn't examplary either...
