So can you copy an entire SD to another larger one if swapping due to size and gold leaf installs still show if installed to the SD? Also what’s the advantage of installing to SD vs system ?

Yes but if you use emuNAND (as you should) copying that requires some extra steps. Easiest is to do a whole sector based clone of the card using something like EASEUS Partition Master/EASEUS Todo Backup or AOMEI Partition Assistant which will copy everything as is but it's kind of slow since it also copies empty/unused space. If you don't have 2 SD readers to do the clone directly, you can image the card onto your PC instead. WIn32DiskImager also works well for imaging and is maybe the easiest to use.

Then once the card is cloned, resize the FAT32 partition to fill the drive.

If you install games to the SD card with Goldleaf can you move them to the internal storage later? I have noticed they seem to crash while on the SD but when playing my Games I loaded to the console from my Game Cartridge they work fine.
