I am trying to use dsiwarehax on 11.5
3ds.guide doesn't tell to install gm9. Is ocs really all i need?
this is what i apparently need to copy to my sd card:
IQqW7YZ.png

within boot9strap folder is the boot9strap firm file and the 2.54-0_11.4_OLD.firm file.
boot.3dsx is ocs
boot.firm is luma
boot.nds is b9s tool

just asking
but i dont know about it
maybe try it?
I will, but if it doesn't work i have to wait another week
GodMode9 will be needed later on during the guide, but it's not needed during the dsiware transfer.
It doesn't say it anywhere in the guide. When i've used b9stool, what do i do?
Do i put the gm9 folder from the gm9 release on the root and the .firm file in luma/payloads? (i forgot how this went on my previous 2ds that has cfw)

It's right here in the Guide
Section VI - Flashing the target 3DS’s FIRM
  1. Launch b9sTool by starting your DSiWare game on the target 3DS
  2. Select “Install boot9strap” and confirm
  3. Exit b9sTool, then power off your device
    • You may have to force power off by holding the power button
  4. Power on the target 3DS

if i do that, will it install the gm9 files? (i am sorry, it's been a loooong while ago since i installed cfw on my 2ds, it was more a test and i never touched it again because the screen was broken but i found out now that i could use dsiwarehax and i aplogize for all this useless information)

No, this will only install Boot9Strap, you will get the latest copy of GodMode9 during the finalizing steps. You should really read ahead to gather all of the files that you need and to be ready for the rest of the Guide. They only give you the files as you need them, since you don't need GM9 during these steps, they don't give them to you.

It doesn't mention gm9 until finalizing setup section V
Section V - CTRNAND Luma3DS
  1. Launch GodMode9 by holding (Start) during boot
it doesn't say how to install it.
Do i put the gm9 folder from the gm9 release on the root and the .firm file in luma/payloads

I just noticed that as well, it used to mention that.
But yes, you do put the gm9 in the root of your SD card and .firm file into the /luma/payloads folder

Ok, thank you very much. One more question: i tried updating luma on my previous 2ds but it doesn't seem to work. If i put the latest version of luma on my current 2ds that hasn't got cfw yet, is there any chance that something happens causing that i can't get into the rosalina menu?

Are you running the latest B9S on your old 2DS? B9S 1.2+ is required for the latest Luma3DS to work.
Since you are running a new install of B9S, you should be good to go it the terms of using the latest Luma3DS
