nesdev.com user UD2 reverse engineered the sound driver used in the Japanese release of "Gimmick!".
He compiled a document describing the format of the music data.
Document version history:
1.0 (2021-01-15) : initial version

This document covers the variant of Sunsoft's sound driver used in "Gimmick!"
Other variants may work differently, but that is outside the scope of this
document for now. A quick check indicates that Journey to Silius' driver works
at least somewhat similarly, but with different memory locations.
For the sake of brevity, this document will refer to the Gimmick! sound driver
by the acronym "GSD".
