Hacking Getting "Invalid NCA" error when trying to install Tinfoil

I have a freshly hacked Switch. I hacked it by following the instructions at nh-server.github.io/switch-guide .

I've got:

• Hekate 5.2.1
• Atmosphere 0.12.0
• Awoo Installer 1.3.3
• Goldleaf 0.8.0
• OFW 10.0.3

I downloaded the Tinfoil 8.10 NSP, and tried to install it using both Awoo and Goldleaf. Both applications give me an error: Invalid NCA signature.

I've googled the error message and looked through a bunch of posts, but none of them seemed to hold the solution to the problem. Can anyone tell me what's wrong and what to do about it?

Where did you download it from? Try redownloading it and if it still fail then install it using the tinfoil NRO installer: https://tinfoil.media/repo/tinfoil.latest.zip

Do you have these signature patches installed (if you're using fusee-primary as your primary bootloader and not Hekate)?

Also, using the Tinfoil NRO yields the same result as installing the NSP. Both install Tinfoil as a channel on the system.

You nailed it, Lacius. After installing the signature patches, I stopped getting the error message about invalid NCA, and I was finally able to install Tinfoil!

Now the problem has changed; when I try to launch Tinfoil, I see a simple "Unable to start software" error message.

EDIT: It was my own fault, I was on SYS instead of EMU.

I have updated the sigpatches to their latest version and the latest version of the colsola but I make a mistake when I want to remove it,




Already tried with awoo install, gofleaft and litium, even try via usb and nothing




Please help me I can't think of any other idea

Just downgrade your firmware and everything will work again, Ive had the issue for ages and realized its the firmware 12.0.3
