I updated with Waninkoko's 4.1U updater, and now preloader's hacks are no longer working. When going to system hacks It says "there are no hacks found for your system menu..." Any ideas?

Well you need to search for a hacks.ini that patches the SysMenu 4.1, instead of trying to patch values from FW 4.0, although I haven't seen any thread about it, so for now you don't have any patches to apply...!!!

Well, 4.1 came out a day or two ago so it's not really surprising that there aren't any hacks for it yet. Your options are to be patient or to discover the hacks yourself. There's a reason why the advice around these boards is to generally wait it out a bit on the updates.

If you don't want to wait you could try porting the values with IDA pro or Smelter, howtos can be found by googling "Patch porting", I guess you'll find howtos to port phone patches, but it's the same.

Has anyone tried to change just the version numbers in the hacks.ini, and see if the current patches work? The DOLs from 4.0 and 4.1 are the same filesize, so (in a long shot) you might get lucky and have the patches work from the previous version.

Already tried that, it lists the hacks, but they dont seem to work. For example it shows the disable health screen hack has enabled but I still have to hit A when turning on the wii.

The dols have the same size but they are different. I checked the patch locations from 4.0 and 4.1 PAL and they are different, so the 4.0 patches can't work on 4.1, no need to try.
