What? We updated because the teams stated that 5.5.x was safe and they kept reassuring us they would release an exploit for 5.5 users. They've been doing this since Mario Maker, which is when I updated to 5.5. (At the time, there wasn't a kernel exploit for 5.4)

Victim mentality? Did someone break into your house while you were away and update your wii u? Take ownership of your own mistakes. I don't know why you would ever have updated even if someone told you to until the exploit was released. You only have yourself to blame.

Many people buy games for consoles because they know they can sell it afterwards.
If nobody buys their used games - they won't buy new games.

I made a post venting my frustration that being a huge Nintendo fan that does infact buy games on a regular basis is upset that the wii u scene is going well but there is a big part missing to further the development and entice devs to come on board and work this console towards IOSU. Somehow its turned into a

1. Hykem moan
2. a release the kernel noaw for free games
3. an attack on devs

Im no saint, my vwii is full of nes, snes, megadrive, gba, psx titles and more. I just like Nintendo, I like the packaging, if NX goes all digital they can suck a bag of dicks but since 1986 them boxes have kept me amused, it's worth the money.

I like physical games alot better as well. Especially if you are moving to a new console, you won't have to worry about transferring NNID or shit like that.

How am I even doing that? I have stated numerous times that I updated for Mario Maker, after the devs kept reassuring us that 5.5 would get something. It's 8 months later and that something has not been released. In no way, shape, or form am I blaming the devs for me updating my U.



ALL I FUCKING WANT TO DO IS USE HOMEBREW! WHY IS THAT SO FUCKING HARD TO UNDERSTAND?
