If you're going to get a PSP, wait for the next iteration. It should be in less than two years. Battery life will be much better and hopefully there will be less moving parts. Priority as a portable should be battery life, don't you agree?

I would wait for the DS 2, I'm envisioning dual multitouch screens with GCN+ graphics and no gap (compatible with ds games, a virtual gap being made) :drools:

the psp's battery life will kick you in the nuts
...and psp games are mostly ps2 ports anyway.

the ps2 has a huge library of amazing titles if you haven't touched the system yet

Well, here's what I think...

If you REALLY want a PSP (or even if you just THINK that you really want a PSP 'cause you're all excited about it right now) then sure... Go get yourself one. But don't sell your DS and all your gear for it, 'cause I guarantee that you'll regret it at some point down the track.

Everything gets boring after a while. The PSP will be no exception.

Revamped PSP with LED screen is coming out soon afaik (could just be a rumour, but it's a pretty persistent one if it is), so I'd wait to see if that's hackable before buying one.

You should get a xbox 360, it has a lot of great games. I have to admit that I too am bored with my DS and have not played with it in over 3 weeks. There are just no good games lately for the DS.

I'm the same man. What you should if you have the money get the PSP, or wait for a redesign? (if its true). I'm too probably will get a PSP myself, but I don't have the money to go and buy one right now. Its a good portable system.

So let me get this straight... you played all the way through Pokemon Pearl / Diamond, Etrian Odyssey and Anno 1701 already? Then you're an addict and definately should stay away from the PSP - having two systems will ruin your social life...

If not - try to finish a game for once...
