Traded Pokemon get more EXP than Pokemon you catched yourself, so they level up faster. I don't want that.

I think the only possibility to get all 3 starters with the same ID is using PKHex. (at least without breeding them from eggs).

What you can do:
1) extract your save with jksv before choosing a starter
2) choose a starter
3) extract the starter from your save using jksv and pkhex
4) import the first save in jksv
5) go to 2) and do the same with the other 2 starters

6) Use PKHex and import the starters.
7) import this save in jksv.

Another option: Get the starters by trading (or wondertrade) and change their ids in pkhex.

Well one means is getting the 3 starters and a Ditto, put 1 of the starters in Daycare with the ditto, get the egg, and repeat for the other 2. But that's when you get to a Daycare area. Without a daycare, you'd need to an editor to modify the Pokemon directly.

i heard the first badge already gives you control up to level 35 so thats not much of a problem anymore

Too bad the greninja is like 2 levels over that, so you need to do the second trial.

Just take the starter you got in the beginning and use the updated PKHeX to change em to to two other starts you need... simple as that.

this has never been true.
if it has your OT name, ID and Hidden ID, it will listen, no matter the level.

Too bad the greninja is like 2 levels over that, so you need to do the second trial.

you really don't want to use that greninja to breeze through the game, its probably easy enough as it is. i mean, you're supposed to get the exp share within the first hour or two of playing

What we could do here is trade starter eggs instead of discussing ways of doing it. Or you use PKHex, or egg breeding, since you want your OT and ID.

1. save before getting your starter
2. back up your save with homebrew
3. get starter, then play through until can trade, trade it to a friend
4. import save from number 2, repeat step 3
5....
6. Profit!

Doesn't the game support pokemon bank? Just transfer them to bank and start a new game until you got all three.
