Hacking Getting a Wii Chipped

Does anyone know a reliable place I can send my Wii in and get it chipped? I've never soldered in my life and I don't want to screw my Wii up.

did you check www.craigslist.org or places that sell mod chips?

Ive done several. If you can supply the wiikey I will install it for £15.

If you don't have a wiikey, i should be able to get an official one for about £25.

I am getting some cheaper clones in (which where said to be wiikey originals but who knows) but i wont have for over a week.

Obviously postage on top, probably not more than 6 quid each way i reckon.

I've been looking around craigslist.org for a while now.. I live in California and the prices are not so pretty. They range from $40-100+. Your best bet is to try to email one of them and negotiate a better price or to post your own wanted ad. So far I found a person willing to do it for $35.

Check out WillieWonka on the www.cheapmod.net forums, I got my Wii chipped by him for £55 which included supplying, fitting the Wiikey and special delivery to me the next day. Top bloke!
