Hardware getting a 3ds xl tomorrow, questions

i have street pass miis that i haven't activated yet, would they still be there when i do the system transfer? or is it a good idea to activate them now and get the puzzle pieces and stuff now before i do the system transfer?

also will the 3ds xl come charged already or with any juice left in the battery as i need to do the system transfer as soon as i get the 3ds xl a friend wants to sell my normal 3ds for me on the day, would it work if i put the 3ds xl charger in straight away and do the system transfer like that from my normal 3ds?

Well I know with the DSi atleast you could plug it in and use it right away wail it was charging but if you played it straight out of the box with no charging as soon as you got it, it would cause the battery to basically get stuck at that charge level. My friend did that without realizing and her brand new DSi would only hold a charge for about an hour. I think the batteries may be different now but if you wanna better safe then sorry I'd say charge it. =)

The system transfer question... I don't know anything about that sorry. =(

for the System tranfser question:
it moves EXACTLY as u have on your 3DS now. that means, everything stays the same.
so do whatever, because it doesn't matter.
