Hacking GenPlus GX error

I'm trying to setup GenPlus GX but when I try to load a game it says "unable to open directory." I tried both 1.7.4 and 1.7.3 to no avail. My games are in usb:/genplus/roms as they should be. I've tried launching both from a forwarder and directly from HBC. I tried the other dol in the archive. My hard drive is fat32. Any help would be appreciated.

Go into system setting and change your dir for your roms to usb
