Homebrew Geexbox help

I have Geexbox on my Wii, and I have a DVD+r with some AVI files on it.
How can I get Geexbox to see the avi files?

Is the problem the disc format?

durr GeeXbox can't use dvd nor wifi. use mplayerce.

If it can't play DVD's, why does it have DVD options?

Anyway, I'll just copy the AVI files across to my SD card and play them from there

no idea, but it's limited through linux "for now" so no wifi or dvd in GeeXbox.
