Hacking Geexbox 0.1alpha5 USB Hard Drive issue

Can anybody think why 0.1alpha4 was able to recognize my 250GB Western Digital External Hard Drive (NTFS formatted) yet 0.1alpha5 is unable to recognize it?

Were there any changes made that affect the Hard Drive recognition?

Also, are there any other Wii Media Players out there that would recognize NTFS formatting?

I haven't tried alpha 5 yet. Geexbox uses linux, that is why it supports NTFS. No other media players currently use linux.
