Hush hush! Just prepare your body! It's not a new NTR release if you're thinking. Although it is pretty cool and it IS something NTR related :)

I'm just the tester

Since the posts regarding this are two years old, I'll refrain from quoting them. But pirating a game you legally own is still not okay. Why? Well, here's an example: say you purchase a car from a car dealership. You legally own this car, and are allowed to drive it to your heart's content. Now let's say you want a copy of said car to preserve the original, so you go back to the dealership and steal the same model. That car is stolen, and you will be in serious legal trouble as soon as you're caught. So why should you be able to steal a second copy of a game when you only bought one? Being the legal owner of one object does not make you the legal owner of another.

Stop being a cuck. A car and a game consisting of digital data are very different things.

The point still stands; if I own object A, that does not mean I own object B - I didn't pay for it. And listen, I don't care if you pirate. But the argument "I own the game, so it's okay" is complete BS.

personally, I dont care for piracy, I don't do it and I don't care if anyone else does it. Telling someone what they are doing is wrong is going to do nothing.

So is making NAND backups wrong then? You're backing up the digital data from a physical object. Which sounds a lot like... OH MY GOD CARTRIDGES

The problem with that is this: it's a literal backup of your own software. You're not stealing an entirely different "object" (not a physical object in this case, but you get the point). It's yours; do what you want with it. The same can't be said for copies of other objects.

So you're agreeing that if you backup your own cartridge and keep the backup to yourself, it's okay.

lmao this thread turned from 'Is gecko OS for 3DS possible?" to "Piracy - Is it wrong or right?"
If a thread's main question can be answered with yes or no, said thread is bound to be derailed.

Yes.

Give the answer, kill the thread.
I wish it were that simple. But there always seems to be something someone says that will either start an argument or a regular discussion. Either way, the thread is successfully derailed. That's not to say this is always the case; just something I've observed here and there.

yes. And someone had to necro-bump this thread.

If you're talking about me, then no, I didn't necrobump this thread. My initial post here was only one minute after its predecessor. Not only that, but there must've been a good 5+ posts before mine.

No. I am not talking about you. Why would I be talking about you? You did not necro-bump this thread.
