Hardware GC Discs Not Working

I have a Wii fully softmodded and all of a sudden my Gamecube discs will not work. The disc loads in the channel, like it is read, but when I click start the game doesn't boot up. My Wii discs work fine.

I didn't encounter this problem until after I started using DiosMios to run GC ISOs via WiiFlow. Would that have somehow caused a problem? I like to use discs when I can rather than Diosmios, so if someone could help me to get this working again that'd be great.

Have had the same problem. Never use the Wii so I completely ignored and forgot the issue lol.
Would be nice to fix it though

I tried "virginise my wii" but it obviously didnt work.

DiosMios replaces the MIOS of the Wii, the software component used to run GC games. Use ModMii to download MIOS v10, install it with MMM, and play away. If you want to use GC ISOs again, you'll just need to reinstall DiosMios again.

I would go with a lower version than v10, personally. Though unless you plan to use an action replay it probably doesn't matter. I think you need v4 (or lower) for that.

I just said v10 because it's the newest, if I'm not mistaken?

Yeah, it's the newest, but newest doesn't always mean best. I don't think it's ever really been clear what's changed between versions other than later ones block stuff like AR. I've never had problems with earlier versions, though.
