Hi,
sorry for reading, this is another noob question(and maybe wrong section).
Is there any(paid or free) version of Gamecube Action Replay which doesn't require the slot-B adapter, so just runs from DVD?
Thanks

You can format a standard gamecube 59 block memory card to act as the AR card I think. Can't remember how or if you can do it with simply just the disk and a memory card, it's been awhile since I've looked over that kind of stuff.

I haven't got a normal GC save card(and not a reader at all), I only have a SD gecko.
Well, if it's the only way and readers aren't too expensive I will buy a GC memcard.

I will look into it later today if I get a chance as I have everything already. If it would work with a gamecube memory card, then I see little reason why it wouldn't work with a small sd card and sd gecko. Used to back up GCN saves through PSO+BBA because I was too damned cheap to buy a new card hehehe

I'm using my modded Wii

So PSO won't work, but the Wii is also able to load what PSO loads(GCOS).

Yes,this is true,it will work with pretty much any standard GC mem card, thats what I have used forever for my GC Action Replay...

Just inserting the memcard and that's everything? Without a memcard reader?
Then I buy one tomorrow.

Should be able to just format your memcard with your gamecube inserted into slot B and put in your AR disk and select a few codes for anything then press start and insert any game then shut off and turn back on and it should have automatically put an AR file on the memcard.

Thanks, I get myself a GC card soon

dunno why people are saying "format", call you need to do is copy the file onto another card

Its treated as a normal save, but its undeleateable on the orginal AR memory card.

I bought a 32MB Gamecube Memory card a hour ago(They call it Wii memcard).
It works fine

But now is my problem:
I use a wavebird controller, and it acts like the analog thing is turned up, so it's hard to select cheats and impossible to add them! Some guys told me about Wavebird issues with AR, so it's a known issue.

I've heard of GCOS versions with AR built-in, does anyone know a working one? I tried 1.5 with SDload and it didn't work(selected AR, pressed Z, then it went back to the GCOS menu).
