Sounds strange. But to install PSP homebrew place the homebrew folder in ux0/pspemu/game
Curious how this will better than a emulator made for Vita. Are those recommendations old and possibly outdated?
Maybe you are able to install via Better Homebrew Browser , some PSP homebrew are there as well

The recomendations date from like 7 years ago to a couple of months ago, but I used mgba to play Rayman 3 and it worked well enough, got bamboozled by the rom site since it showed PS 2 gameplay for it and I was too tired to think about it, had fun anyway though

Was it better than a native vita emulator? I remember some homebrew ran better or only vis PSP "emulation" on Vita when cfw was new on the Vita

I use mGBA myself. I've never had a problem with it AT ALL. Great framerates, graphics, lighting, just like playing it on a GBA. So why the need for a new emulator, that is to say, why are you moving away from mGBA???

Good questions Duff, if you're ever in the market for a kick-ass GBA emulator, mGBA is fantastic. :)
