Yeah I didn't know what time to put the event down as. I'll update it when the game is released so that people will see the message. The game should be released at 9am Monday Valve's time. Not sure what timezone they're in though.

edit: I'm ahead of them by 2 hours and it's currently 7:48 PM here, Sunday 9.16.2007. So Monday 9.17.2007 9 AM Valve Time, would be in less than 14 16 hours, if my arithmetic hasn't failed me.

The entire orange box is released in October, but you get to beta test TF2 starting Monday 9.17.2007 (valve time@9AM?) if you pre-purchase the orange box via Steam.

Team Fortress 2 GBATemp Steam-Registered Event has begun however I do not believe the game has been activated just yet. Personally, I just bought Orange Box and am pre-loading TF2 right now. So this is going to a good long time before I'm playing.

This might be overshadowed by the TF2 beta, but everyone should check out the Quake Wars demo on steam, its really fun, and it runs on a 7600GT with good quality.
