GBAtemp back up to speed

It's back and forth for me - one page will load extremely fast, then the next one won't load at all. I hit refresh, and it loads up just fine. I think the initial speed boost we experienced was due, in part, to many people staying away from the site for a while because of the initial loading problems. Once word got out that the site was back up and running, people flooded back in, and the servers may have gotten bogged down by the large number of simultaneous users.

The bright side is that this seems to confirm just how popular the 'Temp is - it's not much consolation for us as members, but the staff should be proud. It's not easy to get enough people on the site at a time to cause it to slow down.

Of course, I could be completely wrong

Unfortunately, the new server seems slower to me than it was before the server change.
But, if it's for the better, than I'm good with it

still slow and laggish though

This is largely due to a move to yet another new server (which should be permanent this time!)

GBAtemp used to be UBERfast - now it's very slow...
