i installed gbarunner3 on my ds and when i hover over any gba game, it says "cant open file!" and i click it and it says "start failed, error 1"

GBARunner3 is not installed properly, follow these steps and try again:

To have GBARunner3 test builds loading GBA roms in TwilightMenu++ you need:

- `TwilightMenu++ 27.5.0` or higher, update if you haven't yet.
- Download the latest `GBARunner3 hicode branch (included in this post)
- Extract `GBARunner3.nds` inside of the `\_nds\TWiLightMenu\emulators` folder
- Extract the `_gba\` folder from the .zip to the root of the SD card, it has the `configs` folder inside, which is important. It should look like `\_gba\configs`.
- Get your own `GBA bios` https://wiki.ds-homebrew.com/gbarunner2/bios.html
- Rename the GBA BIOS as `bios.bin`, then put it inside of the `\_gba` folder.
- Boot TwilightMenu++ and navigate to your GBA roms location and launch them directly, you should see the GBARunner3 splash animation, followed by the GBA BIOS animation with the Nintendo logo.

Hi, thank you for this. Is it possible to safely have and use GBARunner2 and 3 simultaneously for games? _gba folder already has the bios.bin and gbarunner2.ini file for me since I was using GBAR2.

And do the saves carry over automatically? They should, but I thought I’d ask so the saves don’t get deleted or anything.
