Gaming GBA SP Super Mini SD Issue

After adding the games on the sd card and tried to use the super mini sd cartridge the gba freezes after the logo appears , and the screen and logo appears smaller not a full screen, what is the problem?

Check to see if the little switch inside the slot is pressed down -- a smaller screen usually means the GB/GBC detection thing is pushed down.
Also check the cart to make sure something is not likely to press it down. Bits of dirt, plastic not cleanly removed from when it was made...

In the long run you probably want to look into another cart as well -- the GBA supercards are not great devices.
