Hacking GBA Emulator

hi guys, i'm using the DSTwo and playing pokemon emerald. when i try to use the cheats it doesn't activate but it shows the option to enable it. any help?

Could be that the cheats are not AR codes, or that the cheats are fake.
Could you post what's written in the cheat file?
*Also post the source for the codes.

i used gameshark codes. d othey have to be ar codes? i used the codes from cheats.gbatemp.net

Yea, Gameshark codes don't work for me either.
Anyway, the cheat files in the temp don't work for the SC2, only for the M3 (or so I've heard).
You gotta make your own cheat file.

As for AR codes - you can find them on Codejunkies.com, or gshi.org (or just google them

)
The format for AR codes is XXXXXXXX XXXXXXXX
so if you take the codes from Codejunkies, make sure to write them in the file that way.
Here's an example:

Notice that Master codes are not needed (and my cause the cheats to not work)

Also, if you find Codebreaker codes (which are probably the best ones you'll find), you can convert them using AR Crypt, which can be found in GBATemp in the download section.

*One more thing - after making the cheat file, don't forget to save it as .cht or the SC2 won't identify it!

EDIT: forgot to mention that you can only have 30 cheats per cht file, but you can make multiple cht files!
