Connect orginal Gameboy hardware to the internet through a web browser with GB-Link USB I am happy to share a hardware project I have been working on the past few years that allows your Game Boy to connect to the internet through your web browser on desktop or android with no software install required on the host device. Also supports sending multiboot homebrew from a web browser and dumping GB/GBC roms and restoring saves. Supports emulating GB Printer to print images from GB Camera as well as supported GB-Printer games. I developed the v2 hardware out of a need for better accessibility/availability as well as new QOL features. All aspects of the project are open source and as this is an rp2040 board you can also diy your own adapter with a pi-pico and a link cable. hello everyone I was messing around with VBA-M when I tried to use the online function with a friend of mine.
But I couldn't get this to work when I tried port forwarding I couldn't find an answer for which port to use.

One of the windows should tell you? Try port 5738, or 2302.

The online play never worked the best for me, and though VBA-m people might have done something to help over the old vba-link stuff I am not expecting that much. You are far better off running them on the same machine and having your friend join via VNC/teamviewer. Even without that I would say a VPN of some form would be better than port forwarding VBA to the wide open net.
