The game itself has to be installed on both emunand/sysnand for it to work. However you only need to install the patched AGB into your emunand.

Just set up RXTools from the thread, it can use your existing GW emuNAND.

Just use Titlemanager/FBI/DevMenu any of those while using Pasta CFW/Patched rXTools and it will install.

I got gateway, Old3ds and FW: 4.20-9U, no cubic ninja but i have a sky3ds.

Ok, then the easiest way is ti use a spare sd card and use the mset version of pasta cfw on it.

So i've tried going to rx mode, but then when i go to the browser, it says loading rxTools.dat and just hangs there.

No but it's easy :
1. Take another sd card (without emunand) and put the gateway launcher.dat and the cia version of FBI on it.
2. Put the 3ds version of FBI on your gateway micro sd card
3. Put the sd card in your console and boot into gw mode
4. Use the 3ds version of FBI to install the cia one

It is a pain in the ass to use gba games on emunand, you have to either keep your nands linked or install your games in both nands, and switch everytime between gateway and rxtools.

use two diferents spiders to enter to gw or rxTools
or switch msets
or use mset for gw and spider for rx
