Hacking gba backup tool

i used the gba backup tool on r4 sdhc,
FAT initialization failed.
Apply appropriate DLDI patches.
That's what it says.What should I do?

Use GodMode9i to dump GBA games instead, as the tool you're trying to use is outdated.
After downloading it, launch the .nds file (not the .dsi file).
